SIC – Integrated Reliability System: From Data Fragmentation to Operational Decision-Making
Edimilson Silva
The SIC – Integrated Reliability System is an initiative developed to transform operational and maintenance data into clear, visual and actionable information for industrial decision-making. The system consolidates, in a single view, performance indicators, asset health, reliability, availability, failure probability and operational behavior, allowing teams to continuously monitor equipment status with a risk-oriented approach. The solution integrates classic reliability KPIs such as uptime, MTBF, MTTR, OEE and condition indicators, associated with the actual operating context of the assets. In this way, SIC provides not only the equipment’s current state but also early signs of degradation, failure trends and potential production impacts. More than an indicator dashboard, SIC is positioned as a reliability-management system connecting data, people and processes. The work demonstrates how an integrated approach, supported by visual and standardized metrics, can increase operational maturity, reduce losses and support faster and more consistent decisions in the industrial environment.
